Criteria for Self-Employed Clients

Overview

Self-employed individuals seeking coverage under ALI Group's My Protection Plan must meet specific eligibility requirements.

Age: Applicants must be between 18 and 59 years old.
Residency: Must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or hold an Australian Permanent Residency Visa.
Loan Association: Applicants should have applied for a loan (as a borrower, co-borrower, or guarantor) or a loan increase in the last 12 months. Alternatively, they should have completed a loan review with their mortgage broker in the same period.
Residency Duration: Must have lived in Australia on a permanent basis for at least 6 continuous months during the past 12 months.
Benefit Limits: The total Death and Terminal Illness Benefit across all My Protection Plan policies issued by Zurich should be more than $100,000 but not exceed $1,000,000 at the time of the new application.

Note: The policy owner must receive the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) in Australia.
