3. Name and Classify

  • After completing the boundary:

    • Enter a name for your paddock.

    • Select whether it is productive or non-productive.

  • Click Save to confirm and store the paddock.

๐Ÿ“Œ All changes are synced to the classic map, so you can switch between systems without losing work.

There are two main ways to start editing:

Option 1: From the Edit Menu

  • Return to the Edit > Paddocks section.

  • Select the paddock from the list or directly from the map.

Option 2: Click Directly on the Map

  • Click the Edit button to enter edit mode.

๐Ÿงฉ Adjusting Boundaries

Once in edit mode, you can customize the paddock shape:

  • Click and drag small blue dots (vertices) to adjust the shape.

  • Click large dots to move whole segments of the boundary.

➕ Add New Points

  • Click and drag anywhere along the boundary to insert new points.

  • Great for tracing natural features (e.g., a river).

❌ Delete a Point

  • Click a point to highlight it in blue.

  • Use the Delete Vertex option in the left-hand toolbar to remove it.

๐Ÿ” Undo a Change

  • Use the Undo button in the toolbar if you make a mistake while editing.

๐Ÿงพ Updating Details

While editing, you can:

  • Rename the paddock

  • Change it to productive/non-productive

  • Add or edit labels

๐Ÿ’พ Saving Changes

  • The Save button will light up blue when there are unsaved changes.

  • Click Save to confirm and store your edits.

As always, any updates you make in the new map will carry over to the classic version, ensuring consistency across both tools.

If you need to perform tasks not yet available in the new map (e.g., blocks or exclusions):
