How to Create a Portal Account

Creating a Kookaburra City Council portal account allows you to manage your rates, submit service requests, and receive council updates — all in one place.


✅ Follow These Steps to Register

  1. Go to the Portal Homepage
    Visit my.kookaburra.nsw.gov.au and click the “Register” button at the top right corner.

  2. Enter Your Details
    Fill in your:

    • Full name

    • Email address

    • Mobile number

    • Create a secure password
      (Password must be at least 8 characters and include a number or symbol.)

  3. Verify Your Email
    You’ll receive a verification link via email. Click the link to activate your account.
    Didn’t get the email? Check your spam folder or search for emails from noreply@kookaburra.nsw.gov.au.

  4. Log In to Your Account
    Once verified, return to the portal and log in using your email and password.

  5. Link Your Property or Rates Account (Optional)
    If you’d like to manage your property or view rates:

    • Go to My Properties > Add Property

    • Enter your Assessment Number (found on your rates notice) and property address


👥 Who Can Register?

Anyone who:

  • Owns a property in Kookaburra City

  • Manages a property or is authorised by the owner

  • Is a resident or tenant accessing council services
