Using the New Mapping Tools in MyBallance
The MyBallance platform has introduced enhanced mapping tools designed to make paddock and farm management easier, faster, and more accurate. This guide walks you through how to access and use the new features effectively.
🔓 Accessing the New Map Tools
To begin using the new mapping tools:

Login to MyBallance.

Navigate to your map via:

The “View My Map” button on the homepage, or

“My Property > My Map” if you manage multiple properties.

Choose your property from the selector list.
Once inside, you'll notice the new mapping interface, which differs from the previous version.
🆕 New Features Overview
The upgraded map includes several improved features:
🧭 Base Map Options

Switch Base Maps: Change your view to a Street Map to get more detailed reference points—handy if your satellite imagery is outdated.
🗂️ Layer List

A new Layer List function is available in the top-right corner, allowing you to toggle different map layers.
🛠️ Improved Paddock Editing

Select a paddock (e.g., "Paddock C10") to begin editing.

The editing tools now ensure:

No overlaps can be created.

Automatic adjustments occur when you move fence lines, helping maintain data accuracy.

🔁 Seamless Integration with the Old Mapping System
If needed, you can switch back to the old mapping experience:

Click the “Switch to Old Map” button in the top-right corner.

Any edits made in the new system will carry over to the old version.
For instance, a change made to Paddock C10 will still be visible and editable in the old map interface—useful if you need to manage features like blocks or exclusion zones that aren’t yet available in the new tool.
