How to Reset Your Password

If you’ve forgotten your password or need to reset it for security reasons, follow the steps below to reset your Kookaburra City Council portal login.

✅ Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Go to the Portal Login Page
    Visit my.kookaburra.nsw.gov.au and click “Login” at the top right corner.

  2. Click “Forgot Password?”
    On the login screen, click the “Forgot your password?” link below the login fields.

  3. Enter Your Email Address
    Type in the email address associated with your portal account, then click Submit.

  4. Check Your Email
    You will receive an email from noreply@kookaburra.nsw.gov.au with a link to reset your password. The link is valid for 30 minutes.

  5. Set a New Password
    Follow the link and enter a new password that meets the following criteria:

    • Minimum of 8 characters

    • Includes at least one number

    • Includes one uppercase letter

    • Includes one special character (e.g. !@#$%)

  6. Log In
    After resetting your password, return to the portal and log in with your new credentials.
